Candidates should hold an active Pennsylvania Social Work license and Pennsylvania Department of Education school social worker certification, ensuring you’re prepared to provide crucial resources and support to students navigating academic and personal challenges.

What we’re looking for:

• Pennsylvania Social Work license (LCSW, MSW, or equivalent)
• Pennsylvania Department of Education certification for school social work
• Previous experience in school settings or with adolescent populations preferred
• Strong communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills
• Commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive learning spaces

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing one-on-one and group counseling for students
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families on student plans
• Responding to crises and assisting with behavioral interventions
• Connecting families with local resources and community agencies
• Supporting positive behavioral and social-emotional learning initiatives
• Maintaining thorough documentation and upholding confidentiality
