School Social Worker - Shickshinny, PA

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Social Work license (required)
• Pennsylvania Department of Education School Social Worker certification highly desired; candidates without it may be eligible for emergency certification for the first year
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to manage a mobile schedule, traveling between sites

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services, including individual and group counseling
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community partners to develop and implement student support plans
• Address students’ mental health, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Facilitate referrals and connections to external resources
• Document services and maintain accurate case records in compliance with all regulations
• Participate in team meetings and develop effective intervention strategies
