Social Worker | Silt, Colorado

Make a lasting difference in the lives of K-12 students as a dedicated School Social Worker in a dynamic educational setting near Silt, CO. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide support and guidance to students, families, and staff throughout the academic year. You’ll work onsite with an engaged community, helping to foster healthy social, emotional, and academic development across a diverse caseload.

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Teaching License (CDE) is required
• SSW or Counselor Endorsement must be current
• Previous experience supporting K-12 students preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and student needs
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive school culture

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to K-12 students
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address students’ needs
• Assist with crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and referrals to appropriate community resources
• Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with school protocols
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to promote student well-being and academic success

This assignment runs from mid-August through early June, offering the chance to build meaningful relationships over the course of the entire academic year. You’ll be working onsite within a supportive school environment and will have the chance to collaborate with a strong team dedicated to student success.
