Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for school social work certification
• Previous experience in a school setting or with children/adolescents preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs and develop individualized support plans
• Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in groups
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school administration to create a supportive learning climate
• Facilitate crisis intervention and provide resources for prevention and resolution
• Coordinate with community agencies and service providers to connect families with additional support
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
