Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work required
• Valid Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
• Proficient in clinical assessment and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
• Strong collaboration skills to work alongside multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support and implement behavior interventions for students across general and special education programs
• Serve as the school’s 504 Plan Coordinator, facilitating meetings and supporting compliance throughout the academic year
• Collaborate with staff, administrators, and families to develop integrative plans promoting student well-being and academic engagement
• Conduct assessments, deliver counseling services, and help students overcome barriers to learning
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with federal, state, and district standards
