Qualifications:
- Active Michigan school social worker certification (310). Please provide a copy with your application.
- If certification is not yet held, appropriate supervision arrangements must be secured prior to interview consideration.
- Prior experience or training in K-12 and Special Education settings is highly valued.
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, advocacy, and resource facilitation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional success by providing counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services.
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized interventions and plans.
- Facilitate access to community resources and connect families with supportive services.
- Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and assist in creating safe, inclusive learning environments.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable practices, policies, and certification standards.
