Qualifications:

• Active Michigan School Social Worker certification (310) required—please include a copy when presenting your application.
• If not certified, supervision arrangements must be established prior to the interview process.
• Experience working in a school, especially with special education populations, highly valued.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services to elementary students, addressing behavioral, emotional, and social concerns.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored for each student's needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and other support staff.
• Ensure compliance with IEPs and relevant regulations.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of services provided.
