School Social Worker Student Wellness Services

Soliant has an opening for a School Social Worker – Student Wellness Services on a full-time contract assignment with a school district in Nevada. This position provides an opportunity to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral well-being while working closely with educators, families, and community partners. Candidates with a passion for student advocacy and intervention services are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
• Conduct social and developmental assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Develop intervention plans to improve student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and behavioral support strategies.

Qualifications:

• Nevada School Social Worker License.
• Ability to meet all district hiring requirements.

Experience:

• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or families is highly desirable.

Education:

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
