Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• State licensure or eligibility to obtain school social work credentials
• Experience supporting children and adolescents in Pre K-12 school settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) is an advantage
• Compassionate, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assess students’ needs, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling services
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support positive academic and social outcomes
• Advocate for student mental health and connect families with community resources
• Participate in student support teams, IEP meetings, and professional development
• Facilitate social skills groups and classroom presentations as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
