Certified School-Based Social Worker | Tijeras, New Mexico

This rewarding contract role is set to begin as soon as possible and continues through June 2027, offering full-time hours at 35 hours per week and the opportunity to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated student support team.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering both group and individual counseling services to elementary-aged students
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing your insights as a valued team member
• Assisting with crisis intervention to support student safety and well-being
• Collaborating with school staff and families to promote student success

Required qualifications:

• Master Social Worker license
• PED certification as a School Social Worker in New Mexico
• Experience or enthusiasm for working within elementary school settings
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to provide services both one-on-one and in group settings
• Capacity to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and care
