Certified School-Based Social Worker | Tijeras, New Mexico

You will work closely with small groups and specific grade levels to deliver targeted lessons and counseling services based on identified needs. Key Qualifications:

• Current LMSW licensure with eligibility for supervision toward LCSW
• Certification specific to school-based social work, or equivalent state requirements
• Proven experience in educational or child-centered environments, especially with group and individual counseling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators and support staff
• Capability to analyze student data and deliver interventions tailored to specific needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing a range of social, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Develop and deliver targeted support sessions to grade levels or small student groups, guided by school data
• Offer crisis intervention and act as a responsive resource for urgent student concerns
• Engage with teachers and school personnel to ensure support aligns with classroom and school-wide objectives
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of services provided and progress made
• Collaborate with district personnel for continued professional growth and learner support
