What you’ll bring:

• Current LMSW, with the possibility for supervision toward LCSW.
• Experience or strong interest working within school settings, especially with elementary-age children.
• Skills in facilitating small groups as well as delivering targeted lessons to students based on data-driven needs.
• Compassionate crisis intervention capabilities.
• Collaborative spirit for working effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional and social development.
• Lead proactive, data-driven interventions with small groups or entire grade levels.
• Serve as a steady crisis intervention resource, helping students navigate challenges as they arise.
• Maintain thorough, confidential records and regularly assess progress toward established goals.
• Consult with educational staff to develop responsive interventions and supports.
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student feels heard and supported.
• Participate as a valued member of the school’s supportive team.

This contract role offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of May 2027. Supervision opportunities for LMSWs looking to advance to LCSW status are available.
