Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work endorsement is required
- Prior experience in a school setting or with elementary-age children is highly valued
- Strong background in implementing individualized education programs (IEP) and 504 plans
- Familiarity with Tier II/III behavioral interventions and social-emotional supports
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver social work services outlined in IEP and 504 plans for a caseload of 15-20 students (based on split and final assignments)
- Implement targeted Tier II/III behavioral and social-emotional interventions for general education students
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to design and monitor effective support strategies
- Maintain clear, accurate records and comply with all state and school guidelines
- Help foster an inclusive, caring school environment for all students
