School-Based Social Worker - Veguita, New Mexico

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work required
• Current New Mexico state social work license essential (LCSW strongly preferred; LMSW candidates must be eligible for clinical supervision)
• Previous experience as a school-based social worker is a plus
• Strong understanding of counseling, crisis intervention, and resource coordination for students and families
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance students’ social, emotional, and academic success
• Provide direct services and interventions for students in need, including counseling and crisis support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive educational environments
• Conduct assessments and coordinate community resources as necessary
