School-Based Social Worker - Victorville, California

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required; LCSW current and active
• Previous experience working as a social worker in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
• Expertise in supporting students’ academic, behavioral, emotional, and social development
• Familiarity with intervention strategies, IEP processes, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to build trust with diverse students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group counseling services to students addressing academic, social, and emotional needs
• Conduct assessments and support development of intervention plans for at-risk students
• Serve as an active member of the student support team; participate in IEP meetings and coordinate services
• Collaborate with educators, families, and outside agencies to promote student well-being and success
• Document interventions and maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school policy
• Advocate for equitable support and access to resources for all students
