School Social Worker - Victorville, CA

Your expertise as a school-based LCSW will support students’ well-being, promote positive classroom experiences, and foster stronger connections between families, educators, and the broader school environment. Qualifications:

• Current LCSW licensure in California.
• School social work credential (strongly preferred).
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school, clinical, or community setting.
• Knowledge of special education procedures and effective intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills.
• Collaborative spirit and dedication to culturally responsive practices.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based counseling services for students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges.
• Assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and document progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create safe and supportive school environments.
• Participate in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings as necessary.
• Provide crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and preventive programming.
• Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community resources.
