School Social Worker

Location: Wadsworth, MI Area

Position Type: Onsite (W2)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate School Social Worker to support K-12th grade students in the Wadsworth, MI area. This position will provide specialized services to students to promote successful academic and functional performance!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
• Provide counseling and support to students experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop intervention strategies.
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate support plans.
• Offer professional guidance and training to staff on mental health issues.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid schools license to practice as a School Social Worker Michigan.
• Experience working with K-12th grade students is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
