Social Worker | Walton, New York

This full-time opportunity is based near Walton, NY, with working hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Mondays and 8:00 am to 3:15 pm Tuesday through Friday. In this role, you will help foster a positive learning environment by guiding students and collaborating with colleagues and families to address a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Holds a current New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license, or is actively pursuing LCSW status with supervision provided if in progress.
• Alternately, possesses New York State Certified School Social Worker (C-SSW) credentials.
• Completion of Mandated Reporter training as required by state education regulations.
• Satisfactory NYSED fingerprinting and background screening.
• Completion of Sexual Harassment Prevention training, in accordance with NYSED requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling services according to students’ IEPs, 504 Plans, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) recommendations.
• Collaborate with families to identify community-based resources supporting the mental and emotional health of students.
• Serve as an integral member of the counseling team, providing crisis response and emotional support alongside faculty when needed.
