A full-semester contract position is available for a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) specializing in school social work within a K-12 educational setting in New York. This full-time role focuses on middle and high school students, providing essential guidance counseling, case management, and support through social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct guidance counseling and case management services to middle and high school students.
- Collaborate with educators and administration to support student well-being and academic success.
- Implement and promote social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum to foster positive student development.
- Conduct assessments and intervene in situations requiring mental health support or crisis management.
- Facilitate communication between students, families, and school resources to address student needs.
