A full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is sought to provide comprehensive social work services within middle and high school environments in New York. This onsite role focuses on delivering guidance counseling, case management, and implementing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum to support student well-being and academic success. Candidates open to vocational assignments are welcome, though preference is given to those available for onsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to develop and implement intervention plans.
- Manage cases by assessing student needs, maintaining confidential records, and coordinating services.
- Facilitate SEL programs to foster social skills, emotional regulation, and resilience among students.
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide professional guidance to support student development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
- Experience working in school or educational settings, preferably with middle and high school students.
- Strong knowledge of guidance counseling principles and SEL curriculum development.
- Proven skills in case management and collaborative team support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage students, parents, and staff effectively.
