Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by supporting their academic and emotional growth across middle and high school levels. This full-time contract opportunity invites a dedicated School Social Worker to partner with educational professionals to foster a positive learning environment through expert behavioral intervention, assessment, and family engagement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Michigan School Social Worker certification
  • Active Michigan Social Worker License (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW)
  • Experience working with middle and/or high school aged youth
  • Strong foundation in behavioral intervention strategies and student support
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Familiarity with PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) initiatives and IEP processes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver behavioral intervention and targeted support to students to promote positive behavior and address social-emotional needs
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to help identify student strengths and areas needing support
  • Work closely with educators, families, and administration to develop and implement effective strategies tailored to individual student situations
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering social/emotional insights and service recommendations
  • Contribute expertise to the PBIS process for real school-wide impact

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $45/hr to $52/hr and, for those who qualify, access to healthcare benefits, as well as housing and meals/incidentals for eligible candidates. Details on the healthcare benefits plan will be provided following your application.
