School-Based Social Worker - Waterbury, Connecticut

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Social Worker license with a School Social Worker endorsement (#071) required
• Prior experience supporting students in a school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and faculty
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Capable of managing confidential and sensitive situations with professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with students to provide social, emotional, and behavioral support
• Develop and implement appropriate interventions and services in collaboration with educators and families
• Participate in student support plans and multi-disciplinary meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation per school and regulatory standards
• Act as a resource and advocate for students and families navigating school and community resources
