Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate Social Worker endorsement
  • Experience working in school-based or similar child-centered environments preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Compassion and a commitment to supporting student success and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students, as needed
  • Develop individualized support plans and deliver social-emotional learning activities
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to identify student needs and connect to appropriate resources
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP processes, and staff development opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with school and district policies
