Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Current and valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate Social Worker endorsement
- Experience working in school-based or similar child-centered environments preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassion and a commitment to supporting student success and well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students, as needed
- Develop individualized support plans and deliver social-emotional learning activities
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to identify student needs and connect to appropriate resources
- Participate in team meetings, IEP processes, and staff development opportunities
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with school and district policies
