Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Previous experience as a school social worker preferred
• Background working with high school and transition-aged students, especially those with special needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver social work services to students, addressing behavioral, social, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop effective student support plans
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ needs and progress
• Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings as a key team member
• Provide crisis intervention and support, as needed
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
