Social Worker | West Hartford, Connecticut

Make a meaningful impact in young students’ lives as a full-time social worker supporting elementary-aged children. This contract opportunity begins August 31, 2026, with an open end date, allowing for flexibility through the school year, including holidays. You’ll work onsite, five days a week (Monday–Friday), providing essential services within a vibrant educational environment—not virtually. This role focuses primarily on student evaluations, with possible extension based on school needs.

Position highlights:

Desired expertise:

• Previous experience in a school-based social work setting
• Active CT DPH and CT (071) licensure/certification
• Comfortable with short-leave or interim assignments
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with elementary-age student needs and challenges
