Qualifications and Experience:

• Active licensure as a Social Worker, eligible for school or educational settings.
• Previous experience working with middle and high-school age students (5th–9th grade) preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Knowledge of adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and current best practices in school social work.
• Effective documentation, case management, and crisis intervention skills.
• Comfortable with both individual counseling and facilitating small group sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students individually and in groups.
• Assess student needs and create clear, actionable support plans in collaboration with teachers and families.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate for all students.
• Respond to crises and provide short-term interventions as needed.
• Consult with classroom staff to support student learning and social adjustment.
• Participate actively in meetings, educational planning, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with district policies.
