Responsibilities

• Provide school social work services to elementary students
• Support student crisis intervention and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
• Assist with eligibility processes and student support planning
• Maintain documentation and participate in school-based meetings

Requirements

• Active Michigan School Social Worker certification through MDE
• Active Michigan state social work license (310 Certification)
• Understanding of eligibility requirements and MARSE guidelines preferred
• Crisis intervention readiness preferred
• Newer school social workers may be considered if they are ready to jump in and learn
