Key Qualifications:

• School Social Worker (SSW) certification
• Must hold a 310 approval or preliminary approval for SSW in Michigan
• Experience in schools, particularly middle level preferred
• Comfort and safety awareness when working with students exhibiting aggressive behaviors
• Availability for the assignment duration: 8/24/26–6/9/26

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services to middle school students, focusing on traditional and behavioral support caseloads
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff on intervention strategies
• Maintain clear and consistent scheduling three days a week (7:40 AM – 2:40 PM)
• Contribute to multidisciplinary school teams and assist with crisis intervention as needed
