Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SSW license is required
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
- Demonstrated previous experience as a social worker in a school setting
- Commitment to providing in-person support only (remote/virtual work is not available)
- Ability to provide thoughtful interventions and collaborate with educators and families

Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 25 elementary-aged students, offering direct support for social-emotional and behavioral needs
- Deliver push-in services within special education classrooms, working as an integrated part of the school’s multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and outside agencies to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Foster a safe and inclusive school climate while promoting positive relationships
- Conduct assessments, provide counseling, and participate in IEP meetings and intervention planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics
