You’ll have the chance to make a real difference in a day therapeutic program serving two emotional disability (ED) elementary classes and one elementary autism class. Your schedule runs from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm with a half-hour lunch, providing both structure and flexibility for professional and personal pursuits. The assignment is anticipated to last until May 22, 2026, with the possibility for renewal, ensuring continuity and connection.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure and certifications for school social work
  • Previous experience in educational or therapeutic settings (strongly preferred)
  • Knowledge of best practices for supporting students with emotional or developmental challenges
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide social-emotional support to elementary students in therapeutic classes
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and track progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, family members, and interdisciplinary specialists
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with relevant regulations
