Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Social Work is required
  • Possession of either a 310 letter for School Social Work or preliminary certification in MOECS
  • Experience or strong willingness to learn in severe ASD classroom settings for the December role
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a strong desire to foster student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 25-30 elementary students, providing direct support and social-emotional interventions
  • Work collaboratively with another onsite social worker at each location
  • Develop and implement behavior and support plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Serve as a resource for families and staff regarding student mental health and well-being
  • Document services and progress in compliance with school guidelines
