Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Familiarity with IEP process and compliance
• Previous experience teaching elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Flexibility in adapting to student needs and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in grades 2-5
• Deliver differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
• Monitor and communicate progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
