Special Education Teachers

Make an immediate impact in the lives of students by providing specialized instruction and support in a dynamic school environment. We're seeking passionate Special Education professionals to work in full-time contract positions across elementary and middle grades. With para support in place, you’ll collaborate with general education teams to promote inclusion and foster student success.

Open positions include:

• Two elementary (K-5) inclusion roles
• One elementary (K-5) self-contained role
• One middle school (grades 6–8) inclusion role

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
• Employ differentiated instructional strategies to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities
• Co-teach and collaborate with general education teachers in inclusion settings
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and participation
• Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and communicate regularly with families and school team members
• Utilize para support effectively to maximize student engagement and success

Preferred qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience in K-8 special education, with emphasis on inclusion and/or self-contained classrooms
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dedication to creating equitable opportunities for all learners

These full-time roles offer 37.5 hours each week and begin as soon as possible, continuing through the remainder of the school year. Leverage your expertise and compassion while making a difference for students who need you most.
