Special Education Teacher in Adrian, OR

A Special Education Teacher position is available to support a virtual school serving approximately 60 students. This contract role offers a Monday through Thursday schedule, totaling 32 hours per week, and is located in the Adrian, OR area.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
• Deliver engaging virtual instruction and support that aligns with special education standards and student learning goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to maximize educational growth.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational policies and regulations.
• Participate in virtual meetings and professional development sessions related to special education.

Qualifications:

• Certified Special Education Teacher with relevant state credentials.
• Experience teaching students with diverse disabilities in a virtual or remote learning setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of virtual instructional tools and technology.
