Special Education Teacher - Adrian, Oregon

Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a closely related field.
• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience teaching in special education settings, preferably in virtual or remote environments.
• Strong understanding of IEP development, student accommodations, and IDEA compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and technology skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and provide individualized support in a virtual setting.

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with diverse needs via virtual platforms.
• Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student achievement and inclusion.
• Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and timely communication with all stakeholders.
• Provide a supportive and nurturing virtual classroom environment.
