Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience delivering instruction or support to K-12 students, ideally in a virtual or blended-learning environment
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues remotely
• Ability to adapt core curriculum and tailor learning plans to individual needs
• Proficiency in using online learning platforms and digital resources
• Dedication to fostering inclusion and encouraging students’ independence and self-advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for virtual learners
• Deliver instruction, accommodations, and interventions suited for online formats
• Monitor student progress, track data, and adjust teaching approaches as needed
• Collaborate with parents, general educators, and other team members to support each child
• Document all communication, instructional activities, and case management duties
• Maintain compliance with all educational policies and legal requirements
