Seeking a skilled Special Education Teacher to support 3rd grade students in an intervention setting for a short-term contract covering a leave. This assignment offers the opportunity to make a direct impact, working with a dedicated school community and collaborating with educators and support staff.
Assignment Details:
- Location: To be determined
- Contract assignment from November 2026 to February 2027
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Hours and daily start/end times to be determined
- Caseload includes 3rd grade intervention students; additional caseload details will be provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Facilitate academic and individualized supports for 3rd grade learners
- Implement accommodations, modifications, and targeted academic interventions
- Monitor and document student progress per special education requirements
- Work in partnership with general education teachers, related service staff, and administrators
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and planning sessions as needed
Qualifications:
- Active, valid state Special Education teaching certification
- Proper grade-level or special education endorsement required
- Previous experience in elementary special education or academic intervention preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and effective collaboration strongly valued
