With three unique openings in autism programs across grades K–5, you’ll collaborate with dedicated teams in a year-round school, serving as a key advocate and mentor for students with diverse learning needs.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current NY Special Education (Students with Disabilities) license or eligibility to transfer/obtain NY licensing (recent master’s grads and out-of-state licenses considered)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing IEPs
  • Expertise supporting students with autism in K-5 settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement specialized instruction to foster student growth
  • Develop, update, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Create supportive, engaging classroom environments tailored to student needs
  • Communicate regularly with families, staff, and administration
