This contract opportunity offers full-time hours (Monday-Friday, 7:40am–3:20pm), including a paid lunch and an hour of paid planning built into the schedule. You'll work with either 3rd or 8th grade students in both self-contained and inclusive settings (push-in/pull-out), engaging in core subjects such as math, reading, science, and social studies. The school year runs from August 12th, 2026 through May 21st, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 (PK-22) endorsement.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver differentiated instruction and specialized academic support tailored to students’ individualized needs.
  • Implement comprehensive behavior management strategies to create a positive classroom culture.

  • Navigate flexible classroom environments, both self-contained and inclusive, adapting to changing needs.
  • Communicate consistently with parents, support staff, and fellow educators to foster student growth and achievement.
