Life Skills Special Education Teacher – Aledo, TX

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Life Skills Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom in a school near Springtown. The role emphasizes supporting the functional, social, and academic development of students with significant needs.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement IEPs focused on adaptive living skills and academics

• Provide structured, individualized, and small-group instruction

• Build positive behavior supports and routines

• Partner with paraprofessionals, therapists, and general educators

• Monitor progress, maintain behavior logs, and report to IEP teams

Requirements:

• Valid Texas Special Education Certification

• Experience or training in life-skills curricula or self-contained special education

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Compensation & Benefits:
? $38–$45/hour
