There are two full-time positions available serving diverse students in both resource (grades 2 and 3) and self-contained (K-2) classroom settings. These contract opportunities provide valuable classroom experience while supporting exceptional students from now through late May.

What You Bring:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility)
• Experience or strong interest in working in resource and self-contained classroom environments
• Familiarity with creating and implementing IEPs
• Dedication to individualized, student-centered instruction
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families
• Creativity, flexibility, and a nurturing approach to meet students’ unique needs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and structured classroom culture
• Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Work closely with general education teachers and intervention teams
• Engage families in student learning and progress through regular communication
• Support positive behavioral interventions that help students succeed
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging learning environment for all learners
