Special Education Teacher - Allenhurst, Georgia

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Special Education teaching license
• Experience or strong interest in elementary inclusion settings
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to modify lessons and adapt materials for diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families
• Dedication to fostering a positive and respectful classroom culture

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction to elementary students in an inclusion classroom
• Implement IEP accommodations, modifications, and learning strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure that all students’ educational needs are met
• Track student progress and update documentation according to compliance and best practices
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families and team members
