Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience or coursework with pre-school or early childhood adaptive programs preferred
  • Demonstrable commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
  • Adept at individualizing instruction based on diverse student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to work fully on-site with students and staff

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for pre-school students with diverse abilities
  • Utilize adaptive teaching strategies, materials, and technologies to promote student learning
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure cohesion and continuity of care
  • Engage families to foster a supportive bridge between home and school environments
  • Track progress, maintain documentation, and adjust strategies as needed to maximize each child’s development
