The classroom features a manageable caseload of 10 children with moderate to mild needs, allowing you to forge meaningful connections and foster educational growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Wisconsin Special Education Cross Categorical License
• Experience working with elementary students, preferably in special education
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
• Readiness to start full-time on August 27th and fulfill the contract through June 6th
• Enthusiasm for contributing to student progress and growth

What You’ll Do:

• Teach and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in kindergarten to 2nd grade
• Adapt curriculum and instructional methods for diverse learning needs
• Work closely with general education teachers, aides, and families to support each student
• Track student progress, adjusting interventions and strategies as needed
• Foster social, emotional, and academic development in a positive, safe classroom
• Maintain thorough records and comply with all state and federal special education regulations
