Assignment Details:
This travel position focuses on kindergarten through 2nd grade special education, working with a class of 10 students identified as moderate and mild. The assignment covers the academic year from August 27th through June 6th.
What You’ll Need:
- Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher License
- Experience or interest in teaching kindergarten–2nd grade
- Ability to adapt instructional approaches to a variety of learning needs
- Passion for creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs for students across a spectrum of needs
- Deliver engaging, individualized curriculum
- Work collaboratively with classroom aides, therapists, and support staff
- Maintain progress documentation and participate in parent/IEP meetings
