Soliant is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained, mild disabilities classroom in Anderson, Indiana for the 2026–2027 school year.

Assignment Details
Position: Special Education Teacher – Self-Contained
Location: Anderson, IN
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: ASAP – December 18, 2026
Setting: Self-Contained Special Education Classroom
Student Population: Middle school students with mild disabilities
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained special education classroom.
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students' academic, behavioral, and developmental needs.
- Support students in meeting their IEP goals and making meaningful progress.
- Provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation related to IEP goals and services.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, administrators, related service providers, and families.
- Maintain a structured, supportive, and positive classroom environment.
- Implement classroom management strategies appropriate for students with mild disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana teaching license required.
- Previous special education classroom experience preferred.
- Experience working with students with mild disabilities preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work onsite for the duration of the assignment.
- Ability to work full-time, 35 hours per week, through December 18, 2026.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a self-contained special education classroom.
- Experience supporting middle school students.
- Experience working with students with mild disabilities.
- Familiarity with IEP implementation, accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively as part of a school-based team.
