Key Qualifications:
- Valid low-incidence teaching license (must be current and available before placement)
- Experience working with students with significant disabilities strongly preferred
- Commitment to in-person instruction; virtual options are not available
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for diverse learners
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction designed for students with complex needs
- Develop and manage individualized education plans (IEPs) in close partnership with students, families, and colleagues
- Use creative and adaptive strategies to foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress toward specific learning goals
- Collaborate regularly with paraprofessionals, therapists, and school staff to support student success
This is a full-time position (35-40 hours per week), beginning in August and continuing through late May of the following academic year.
