In this position, you will work onsite five days a week for partial days, providing targeted and creative instruction to students with special needs. Candidates with ASD teaching experience are highly encouraged to apply, though other licensures will be considered. Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state teaching license in Special Education (other relevant licensures will be considered)
  • Experience or strong interest in teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD preferred)
  • Previous experience in an elementary school or similar setting is advantageous
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized SPED instruction (.4 FTE) aligned with student IEPs and learning goals
  • Implement evidence-based strategies for students on the autism spectrum
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff for holistic student development
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and engage in regular communication with families
  • Contribute to a positive school culture with creativity and compassion
