Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Demonstrated success as a Special Education Teacher in elementary resource settings
- Ability to design and deliver individualized instruction and accommodations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Adept in implementing IEPs and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt lessons for students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion practices
- Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Foster a positive, supportive, and high-expectation classroom environment
- Engage in ongoing professional development as required
- Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
