Special Education Teacher - Andover, Minnesota

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (required for all candidates)
• Tier 3 or 4 certification necessary for consideration

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and adapt curriculum for students with developmental cognitive disabilities
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to support academic and behavioral goals
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers
• Engage regularly with families to support and report student progress
• Maintain detailed records and compliance documentation
• Cultivate a safe, positive, and engaging classroom atmosphere

This contract role runs from August 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, and a daily schedule around 8:30 to 4:30. Your dedication will help transform students’ learning experiences while also advancing your professional journey in special education.
