Qualifications:

  • Current Minnesota teaching license with dual certification in Special Education (please provide a PDF copy with your application)
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in resource settings or elementary grades
  • Strong understanding of IEP planning, compliance, and data-driven instruction
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet varied student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver resource and support services for K-5 students, in collaboration with general education staff
  • Develop, review, and monitor IEPs, maintaining compliance with all regulations and timelines
  • Design engaging lessons and accommodations aligned with each student’s goals
  • Regularly communicate with families, staff, and service providers regarding student progress
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

The contract begins approximately August 31, 2026, and concludes June 4, 2027, encompassing 37.5 hours per week throughout the academic year.
