A full-time schedule is available, but flexible part-time morning hours can be accommodated. This position runs from late August through December, with the potential for extension depending on district needs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota teaching license with an Early Childhood Special Education endorsement
  • Demonstrated dual certification on your license (please include a PDF copy with your application)
  • Background in early childhood education and experience supporting children with diverse abilities
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt instruction and manage classroom needs effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction and support for a caseload of 3-5-year-old students with varying exceptionalities
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual learning goals
  • Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team members to support each child's growth
  • Maintain records, conduct student assessments, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages development and participation
