This full-time, contract position begins August 31, 2026 and runs through June 4, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule from 7:20am to 3:20pm. You'll lead a program serving students primarily with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) in a Setting 3 environment, managing a class of eight students with the valuable support of three paraprofessionals.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Minnesota teaching license; ABS accepted, but EBD or ASD licensure strongly preferred
- Must hold ASD or DCD endorsement (Tier 3 or Tier 4 licensure required)
- Substantial experience with EBD Setting 3 cluster teaching
- Understanding of K-5 developmental and academic needs in special education
- Skilled in collaborating with paraprofessionals, designing and implementing IEPs, and supporting students’ behavioral and academic progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a supportive, structured classroom environment for students with ASD/DCD
- Lead targeted instruction and behavior interventions for individual and small groups
- Oversee and collaborate with paraprofessionals to ensure effective classroom operations
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs; coordinate progress meetings with families and staff
- Participate in professional development and actively contribute to a positive team culture
