Special Education Teacher | Andover, Minnesota

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience managing elementary-age ABS caseloads preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Dedication to fostering growth for students with diverse behavioral and academic needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to elementary students on an ABS caseload
• Develop and monitor IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student needs are met
• Collect data and track progress to inform instructional strategies
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success
• Maintain regular communication with families and paraprofessionals to support student growth
