Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 only)
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working with students with significant behavioral and developmental challenges
- Ability to build rapport, adapt instruction, and use effective de-escalation strategies
- Solid classroom management and strong communication skills
- Background in multisensory teaching and behavior intervention preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and academic support for students in a Setting 4 program
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student goals and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with paraeducators, support staff, and related service providers
- Maintain documentation, track student progress, and participate in IEP and team meetings
- Employ data-driven strategies for behavior management and academic growth
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for students with severe needs
